Experienced S&P Shipbroker – Specialized Vessels - Atlantic Shipping

On behalf of Atlantic Shipping A/S, MARPRO Group is seeking an experienced and commercially driven S&P Shipbroker to join our team within specialized vessels to our office in Copenhagen.

We operate in a niche market with strong international activities and hold a leading position within the sale and purchase of fishing vessels. With this hire, our objective is to further strengthen our market position and further penetrate the specialized vessels market internationally.

As an S&P Shipbroker, you will play a key role in our continued growth within specialized vessels. Working closely with an experienced team, you will be responsible for expanding our client base in the field of specialized vessels, while maintaining the existing business.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within specialized vessels

• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to closing

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, and shipyards

• Advise clients on market opportunities, pricing, and transaction structures

• Contribute to the team’s strategy for expanding into new segments

• Travel approximately 30–50 days per year

• Manage the Specialized team in collaboration with the management.

Professional Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a shipbroker

• Experience in offshore, aquaculture, fishing, or specialized vessels

• Proven track record in sales and negotiations

• Strong technical understanding of vessels and contracts

• Experience with newbuilding projects is an advantage

• Technical understanding of vessels

Education & Languages
