Kitchen Assistant - La Pausa

La Pausa is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Copenhagen. The position is available for immediate start, and we are looking for someone who is interested in a long-term position.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen tasks across different types of cuisine

• Support all general kitchen operations as needed

• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic at all times

• Receive, check and organise deliveries and ingredients

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

• Maintain and clean the dishwashing area

• Wash dishes, kitchen equipment and utensils when required

• Carry out other kitchen-related duties as needed

Requirements

• Good English communication skills are required

• Careful, responsible and detail-oriented

• Clean, hygienic and well-organised

• Physically fit and able to handle a busy kitchen environment

• Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude

• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

• Must be available to work a substantial number of hours each week and have good flexibility. This position is not suitable for someone who can only work one or two days or a limited number of hours per week

• We are looking for someone who can commit to the position long-term, rather than someone looking for temporary or short-term work
